When are Freddy Fund applications available?

Freddy Fund 360 applications are available on a rolling basis from October through March. Freddy Fund financial assistance grants are typically available in October and March.

What are the eligibility criteria for Freddy Fund gifts?
  • Teens must consider themselves Jewish.
  • Teens must be between the ages of 15-19 or in grades 9-12.
  • Teens must reside in Monroe, Ontario, Wayne, Yates, Seneca, Wyoming, Livingston, Genesee, or Orleans counties.
  • Teens must attend a not-for-profit 501 (c)(3) organized Teen Israel Travel or Gap Year Program.
What is the Community Application?

Local area Jewish organizations, including synagogues and the Jewish Federation of Rochester, utilize this application for teen travel to Israel to apply for financial assistance. Each organization will award its own gifts.

What is the Freddy Fund 360?

This is a one-time gift of $360 to all teens enrolled in an organized teen travel program to Israel.

What is the Freddy Fund financial assistance gift?

This gift provides one-time needs based financial assistance to teens that enroll in an organized teen travel program to Israel.
