The Covid-19 Relief Fund
During this unprecedented and challenging time, the majority of our funding is being directed to general operating support for non-profit organizations located in Monroe and Ontario Counties.
Our Covid-19 Relief Fund provides unrestricted support to non-profit organizations located in Monroe and Ontario Counties. General operating support is intended to invest in an organization’s mission and impact, to help support the infrastructure and operational needs of an organization, rather than a specific project or program.
This Covid-19 Relief Fund is restricted to organizations with a mission specific to one of the following funding areas:
- Arts & Culture
- Entrepreneurship/Workforce Development
Priority will be given to organizations demonstrating the following:
Financial stability with at least three – nine months of operating reserves
Guidelines & Restrictions
Grantseekers must be based in Monroe or Ontario Counties and tax exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Service Code of 1986. They also cannot be classified as private foundations or Type III supporting organizations under Section 509 of the Code.
In addition, grants cannot be used for research, funding individuals, lobbying, or attempts to influence legislation. Please note that incomplete proposals will not be considered.
